Halff was involved in a federal courthouse built as a design-build project. The design plans included demolition plan, paving plan, dimensional control plan, drainage plan, utility plan, grading plan, erosion control plan, miscellaneous details, stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) manual, and construction specifications. The project met all government P-100 design criteria including developing 5.29 acres and providing drainage, water and sanitary services to the proposed site. Halff was also responsible for providing MEP and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services which requires extensive coordination with CPS Energy. Project is LEED gold certified achieving 26% energy efficiency over EISA 2007 requirements. Other green initiative included fully addressable lighting with daylight harvesting and condensate collection system for irrigation use.
