This project consists of the acquisition of 84 parcels and 23 relocations for the widening of FM 2275. The FM 2275 improvements convert the existing two-lane rural roadway to a four-lane roadway, with a continuous center left-turn lane with curb and gutter. The improvements also accommodate bicycles and pedestrians. Due to the highway expansion, some homes were in the path of the new alignment and within inches of the highway right of way. To avoid these unsafe conditions, displaced individuals were relocated.
