Halff Expands Shreveport Office and Adds New Branch Manager

SHREVEPORT, Louisiana (October 13, 2015)  Halff Associates, Inc. (Halff), one of the nation’s leading full-service engineering/architecture consulting firms, announces the expansion of its Shreveport office and a new location at 401 Market Street, Suite 650. Both Halff and its wholly owned subsidiary, Halff TriTex, will serve the Louisiana region from the Shreveport office with an extensive array of civil engineering and oil and gas services.

Halff has been serving clients in Louisiana for many years. Projects have included various engineering assignments at Fort Polk, England Airpark, and the City of Shreveport, as well as subsurface utility engineering services for the Huey P. Long Bridge widening.

Louisiana native Brandon Aillet is serving as Branch Manager of Halff’s Shreveport office. Mr. Aillet is responsible for project procurement and execution, staff management, and client relations. Ben Pylant will serve as the corporate liaison for Halff and the Shreveport office to ensure it has the resources needed to serve its clients and complete projects with the highest quality.

Mr. Aillet has 17 years of civil engineering experience in both the public and private sectors. He has managed a wide range of projects including water and wastewater utility design, roadway/highway design, trail design, general site development, recreation and athletic complex planning and development, and other related engineering work. He is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and a Licensed Professional Engineer in Louisiana and Texas. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and American Water Works Association and is active in the local branch of American Council of Engineering Companies. He volunteers his time at the YMCA and at his local church.

Mr. Pylant is an award-winning water resources engineer who has been with Halff for 11 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Louisiana Tech University and his MBA from The University of Texas at Arlington. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Louisiana and Texas, a Certified Floodplain Manager, and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control. He is an active member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
