Halff Cosponsors Industrial Development Tour to Support Women in Real Estate

August 31, 2021

Halff and partner Peinado Construction cosponsored an industrial development bus tour for IWIRE North Texas in early August, touring multiple projects at or near DFW Airport.

IWIRE, or Industrial Women in Real Estate, is “dedicated to creating a dynamic and supportive environment for women in the industrial real estate business who are transactional professionals from a variety of firms, specialties and all levels of experience in the North Texas market.”

Halff Director of Architecture Derek Downs (second from right) helped guide the development site tour and answer questions.

The tour was led by Peinado Executive Vice President Robert Shelton and Halff Director of Architecture Derek Downs. About 35 IWIRE members participated in the event, which looked at several sites in which Halff was the architect, civil engineer or both.

“We were very excited to support IWIRE with this on-site hard hat tour, providing details on both previous projects and upcoming developments,” said Business Development Manager Frances Notinger, who is a new IWIRE member.
