Inside Halff 09-15-2017
For the third consecutive year, volunteers from Halff’s Richardson and Dallas offices participated in Canstruction, a charity art exhibition and event featuring structures comprised entirely of cans. Halff’s canstructure earned the award for “Best Original Design” this year at the Canstruction awards ceremony.
The Halff Canstruction team built The Very Hungry CANerpillar on September 9 after months of preparation, design, and fundraising. The team came up with the idea of The Very Hungry CANerpillar while brainstorming ideas to reflect this year’s Canstruction theme, “Be the change you want to see in the world.”
The Very Hungry CANerpillar will be on display at NorthPark Center until September 24, when all cans from the structure will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank.
