Inside Halff 09-26-2016
After months of planning, design, fund raising, and practice building, the Halff Canstruction team constructed its version of H.G. Wells’ Time Machine at the Science Place at Dallas’ Fair Park on Saturday, September 24, using various cans of food. This year’s theme is “Celebrating the Past, Present, and Future,” and the time travel structure is titled “Seeking a Future with No Hunger.”
The canstructure will be on display through the entirety of the Texas State Fair. At the end of the fair, the cans will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank.
