Rogers Named ENR Texas & Southeast 2026 Top Young Professional
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Halff Water Resources Team Leader Natalie Rogers, PE, CFM, was recently selected as one of Engineering News-Record’s Texas & Southeast 2026 Top Young Professionals.
The Top Young Professionals program recognizes 30 outstanding individuals who are making significant contributions across the region.
Rogers’ specialized expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, floodplain mapping, dam breach analysis and project management has earned her a reputation as a trusted expert and dynamic leader in the water resources field. She began her career with the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), followed by roles with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and an environmental consulting firm in Little Rock, establishing a strong technical foundation and exposure to complex water and environmental challenges across multiple sectors. She has extensive experience with FEMA floodplain mapping, including base level engineering, flood risk assessments and detailed analysis, and has developed geospatial products according to FEMA standards, technical references and guidance documents.
Rogers holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Arkansas State University and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Mississippi State University. She serves as an adjunct professor at her alma mater, Arkansas State University, where she teaches engineering hydrology and serves as vice president of the Arkansas State University Alumni Board Association.
Earlier this year, Rogers was named 2025 Arkansas Floodplain Management Association (AFMA) Floodplain Manager of the Year. In 2023, Arkansas Money & Politics recognized her as a prominent woman in Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC), further affirming her impact in the field.
