Celebrating Engineers Week

Halff celebrated Engineers Week by sharing insights from engineers across the firm and engaging with students exploring careers in STEM. Throughout the week, Halff engineers answered questions and shared advice for early-career professionals, highlighting how hands-on experience, mentorship and understanding the bigger picture can help engineers grow quickly in their careers. Halff hosted a STEM outreach event at its Richardson office on February 21, welcoming students from the C5 Youth Foundation of Texas for an executive leadership luncheon. Students connected with Halff’s AEC professionals, explored engineering career paths and learned how infrastructure projects shape communities. Halff engineers also attended Engineers Week banquets and industry gatherings across the region, connecting with peers and celebrating the engineering profession.

Graduate Engineer I: Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE)

Location: Houston, TX

Support subsurface utility engineering and utility coordination efforts by assisting with utility investigations, design analysis and documentation for infrastructure projects. This role provides early career engineers with the opportunity to develop technical skills in utility engineering, coordination and design while working alongside experienced professionals on complex infrastructure projects.

Graduate Engineer I: Transportation

Location: San Antonio * Austin, TX

Assist with the design and analysis of transportation projects, including roadway, traffic engineering and intelligent transportation systems. This role offers early career engineers the opportunity to build technical and analytical skills while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and efficient transportation solutions.

Halff Community Initiative (HCI)

Halff’s North Little Rock office showed their care for the local community by delivering an HCI donation to CareLink. The donation will help provide a wide range of services to support older adults in the community.

Yeehaw! Halff’s Houston office supported the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Poultry Auction Committee with a $2,500 HCI donation to help provide scholarship opportunities for youth.

Halff’s Culture

Halff’s Oklahoma City office was named a Top Workplace in Oklahoma! We ranked sixth in the state, marking our third consecutive year on the list. Halff has proudly served communities across Oklahoma for more than a decade.

The Woodlands office celebrated Galentine’s Day with a painting activity, creating colorful sunset scenes while enjoying friendship and creativity outside the workday.

Halff Bag Travels

Amanda Jonas (left) brought her Halff bag along while celebrating her 20th anniversary in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, stopping at Punta Sur’s Cliff of the Dawn and visiting the statue of Ixchel.
