Halff Earns ACEC Honor Award

Halff’s RM 620 Railroad Overpass and Roundabout project was recognized by the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) with an esteemed honor award. This marks the first ever honor award received by Halff. The recognition places the project in the top 12% of entries nationwide, celebrating outstanding achievement in engineering design and innovation. As the prime engineering consultant for this project, Halff provided schematic design, environmental and final design, including plans, specifications and estimates for the roadway, drainage, water quality facilities, water and wastewater, landscaping, hardscaping and aesthetics. The award was presented at the ACEC Engineering Excellence Awards gala in Washington, D.C.

Halff Goes Blue for Flood Awareness Week

Halff offices across Texas joined together for “Wear Blue Wednesday,” a tradition led by the Texas Floodplain Management Association (TFMA) during Flood Awareness Week. The initiative encourages people to wear blue to raise awareness about flood safety and preparedness.

HCI Updates

Shreveport volunteers had a blast at the Barksdale Air Force Show! They helped set up and break down the STEM ZONE hosted by STARBASE.

Richardson volunteers helped make the community a little cleaner by picking up trash along Spring Creek Trail.

Austin volunteers delivered 72 H-E-B, Target and Walmart gift cards to Hope Alliance, a resource center and emergency shelter for those affected by family and sexual violence.

Volunteers from the Houston and The Woodlands offices presented HCI’s $1,000 donation to the Montgomery County Food Bank.

Teaming Together

Tavares employees tested their skills at a team-building event in Decision Tactical’s shooting range simulator, competition courses and real-world scenario environments!

Little Rock celebrated Cinco de Mayo during happy hour at a local restaurant.

The San Antonio office gave a warm welcome to Jaime Aguilar, the new operations manager, with a team lunch where they had the chance to get to know him a little better.

The Tyler office secured third place at the the Tyler Corporate Challenge organized by the City of Tyler Parks and Recreation department. The team faced off against other companies in dodgeball, flag football, tug-of-war and more!

Halff Bag Travels

Stephanie Griffin (left) took a trip to New Zealand to visit her son studying abroad! She had the chance to tour the north and south islands with her husband, son and Halff bag.

Andy Dutton and his Halff bag visited the nation’s capital where they toured many famous landmarks.
