Halff’s RJ Endsley Named ASCE Austin Engineer of the Year

AUSTIN, Texas — Halff’s Central Texas Market Leader RJ Endsley was named the 2026 Engineer of the Year by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Austin Branch.

The ASCE Austin Branch Engineer of the Year Award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the civil engineering profession through leadership, technical excellence and service to the community. Endsley was honored for his continued impact on complex infrastructure projects and his leadership in advancing multimodal transportation solutions across Central Texas.


RJ Endsley was honored by the ASCE Austin Branch as the Engineer of the Year at the 2026 EWeek Banquet with other Halff team members in attendance.

Endsley serves as Halff’s local lead for active transportation projects and plays a key role in overseeing compliance with City of Austin standards. He has extensive experience coordinating with local agencies, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects efficiently and effectively in highly constrained urban environments. He has led projects across Texas, including the Brazos Park East and Riverwalk Extension in Waco, the Killeen Fort Hood Regional Trail and transportation improvements such as the Airport Boulevard project.
