AUSTIN, Texas — Halff Associates, Inc. (Halff), one of the nation’s leading engineering/architecture consulting firms, is proud to announce Shaun Cranston has joined Halff’s Austin office as director of Land Development Services. Shaun brings nearly 30 years of planning, engineering, financial management and construction experience to the firm. He will lead the growth of the firm’s Land and Site Development practice in the Central Texas area.
Shaun comes from an international land development firm, where he served as senior vice president. He opened the Austin office of the firm and was responsible for providing oversight and strategic direction for five of the firm’s Texas communities. His work has resulted in the creation of many master planned communities in the U.S. and Canada, and the development and construction of thousands of new homes and home sites. These developments have created more than $1 billion in market value.
“We’re excited to have Shaun join our team because of his extensive background in land development,” said Executive Vice President Todd Jackson. “With his international experience and desire to build communities, Shaun is a strong addition to our team.”
Shaun earned his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta in Canada. He sits on the boards of Texas Aspires and the Central Texas Food Bank, and he previously served on the executive committee of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce.
