OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma — Halff Associates, Inc. (Halff), one of the nation’s leading engineering/architecture consulting firms, is pleased to announce Rusty Steel has joined its Oklahoma City office as a geospatial manager with experience providing highway and infrastructure design, construction and survey projects for private firms and government agencies. Rusty specializes in aerial, unmanned aircraft system (UAS) and mobile LiDAR, as well as photogrammetric data collection and data processing. With Rusty’s addition to Halff, he will expand the firm’s drone capabilities to bring additional photogrammetric and LiDAR data collection, processing and analysis tools to the firm.
Prior to joining Halff, Rusty worked on a variety of large department of transportation projects, county improvements and municipal jobs. He has 15 years of experience in the A/E/C industry and has held multiple survey, design and technology roles.

Rusty earned his BS in Information System Management from Southern Nazarene University. He is a licensed Autodesk certified instructor and holds a Part 107 UAS license.
