McKinney Parks Master Plan
Client: City of McKinney, Texas

Building on the city's unique branding logo, "Unique by Nature," Halff utilized the master plan effort to explore ways to emphasize and provide access to the natural character of the city. Proposed concepts included overlay of the development districts for special areas within the city including scenic roads, recommended protection measures for floodplains and natural landscapes and development of community gardens. The project covered recreation programming, recreation facilities, benchmarking, marketing and open space protection. The effort involved extensive public participation and subconsultant input.
